My Europe
Through the project "My Europe", we proposed ourselves, since 2006, to inform citizens about the opportunities and challenges of accession and post-accession in European Union and to contribute at creation of a direct link between citizens and institutions.
The project had two main stages:
1. creation of a trainers and advisors’ team in European business
2. opening of information and counseling centers for citizens.
Before setting up the team of advisors, we organized discussions’ sessions on rights and obligations of Romanians after the accession in European Union, on European policy and on free movement of workers.
Project activities were initiated in 2006 by the Center for Analysis and Institutional Development, Institutional Studies and Public Policy Center, National Association of Specialists in Human Resources, public figures, in partnership with the editorial group Triton.
Since 2007, the responsibility for project’s implementation returned to Socio-Human and European Education Resources Center, which began the training of a team formed by advisors in the European business, in order to open information and counseling centers. For advisors, future trainers in European affairs, we organized communication, policies and project management of European Structural Funds courses. In 2007 Triton Publishing House initiated a series of six books, guides on various EU issues, useful to anyone: characterization of the 8 development regions of Romania, Agencies for Regions’ Development, laws and regulations, structural and cohesion funds and other instruments dedicated to sustainable development.
